The Department of Culture and Heritage program every year visits to children and youth room of the municipal library in order to encourage its use and promote the love of reading as a means of entertainment and enjoyment.
All from the program promoting reading entitled "Know the Library", which has been held annually since 1997.
Schools and kindergartens in Alhama part of this project that emerged, as its name suggests, to know the library of our people and immerse smaller in books at an early age from 3 to 4 years onwards and even encourage library among parents.
This course 2016-2017 visits started last October 25, with Ricardo Codorníu school students, and will continue until February 2017 that are scheduled visits with schools and nursery schools of Alhama.
From the library thank all educators and teachers the support they are giving to this activity and, at the same time, reading.
