On Saturday 22 October, a group of volunteers Meles Association carried out conservation activities and improvement in the lagoons of Alhama, framed in the Convention Land Stewardship that Meles has with the City of Alhama de Murcia and funded by the Office Socio-Economic Promotion Environment of the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment.

Volunteers wooden poles placed around the bird observatory of the new lagoon to install an artificial hedge that prevents waterfowl notice the presence of the users of this site.
