The children's room of the Municipal Library has hosted on November 9, 10 and 11 the Story Workshop for parents, taught by Clara Sáenz de Tejada, oral narrator and librarian.
The activity, organized by the Department of Culture and Heritage has counted on the participation of 18 parents, having to expand the initial offer of 15 registrations.
The first two sessions have aimed at learning the basic tools to tell stories and adapt them to each age group, through narrative with gestures, tone of voice and imagination to attract attention, among other skills.
The last session took place last Friday afternoon, and in it, parents, mothers and children, together with Clara the narrator, put into practice the experience gained in the two previous sessions.
The parents themselves told the stories chosen to their children, within a magical and fantasy environment.
Finally, the participants assured that it had been an experience to repeat and to continue learning in this interesting world of the story.
The regional TV 7tv Region of Murcia was present during this final session of storytelling through its program Murcia Conecta.
