This Tuesday, November 29, was the first phase of the training program that the Department of Social Services has set up for users who receive financial aid.
The first course "We approach your town" have been taught by City Council technicians working in different departments and who have collaborated in this project, offering their knowledge and putting them at the service of the attendees.
The users, a total of 22, have been visited by public professionals who have shown them how the City Council is organized and what activities are carried out in each area, as well as the history of Alhama and its surroundings.
The assessment that the attendees have done has been very positive.
The classes have been given in a dynamic way, with an active participation, where their opinions and needs have been taken into account.
Students begin the second course on December 1 and will now work on strategies for personal and social development, a theme for which they have shown great interest.
For nine months this group of neighbors will complete a training that aims to facilitate their inclusion in the world of work.
Attending these courses is the commitment acquired by the users who are receiving the financial assistance of the Social Services in Alhama every month.
