Almost a year ago, at the plenary session of last January 11, the Integrated Sustainable Development Strategy was approved, which prevented the granting of ERDF funds based on a project to be able to alleviate the deficiencies discovered in our municipality and to do so Thus more sustainable and more socially just.
The DUSI of Alhama amounted to 6,250,000, of which 5 million are what is requested of ERDF funds and 1,250,000 which would put the City Hall.
From Izquierda Unida we collaborated with the company in charge of doing the exhaustive study of the town to see that it was more necessary, that areas were the most degraded, where we had to act with more urgency, taking as main premise the social interest.
For this we put at your disposal various works made from our organization.
Unfortunately the Alhama project was not chosen in that first call.
However, for the Region of Murcia in a second call is 11,720,000 euros, so we have another opportunity, which ends on December 15.
To this end, some shortcomings of the document have been polished and the presentation improved to make it more comprehensive, so it again had our support.
Also in a plenary session, in this case last March, the start of the procedure for the compulsory expropriation of lands belonging to owners bordering the El Azaraque School, which did not agree with the price offered for the assignment for the Expansion of the access road to the center.
Subsequently, in the May plenary, continuing with the procedure, the expropriation was agreed.
On both occasions from our Group we highlighted the circumstances surrounding this process, which began in 2012 with the modification of our General Municipal Plan of Ordinance, to allow the establishment of educational educational equipment in undeveloped land in the perimeter Of the town.
In May 2013, the Local Government Board granted the first building permit for the construction of a private educational center, imposing the obligation to urbanize the extension of the access road, which involved, in addition to the promoter society, other 7 other owners.
Subsequently, despite the failure of the promoters of the Governing Board agreement in which it was stipulated that the use of the building would not be allowed until the completion of the urbanization works of the public road and that the bonds valued at 200,000 € , A second works license was granted in September 2014.
Meanwhile, the same PP-Ciudadanos Municipal Government failed to fulfill its electoral promise to build a second line of the public school Ntra. Sra. Del Rosario, which was included in the PGMO, and forced the signing of agreements for the early transfer of land to Change of future urban development and replacement of existing fencing, access and facilities.
Something that not all owners accepted by forcing the start of the expropriation process.
Since IU-Greens, in all this process we have always been against the process of expropriation, to which the owners presented a resource of reposition containing a remarkably superior valuation proposal, on which an agreement has finally been reached with those affected, for Which we abstained on this occasion.
