The Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Diego Conesa, and the Councilor for Education, Mariola Guevara, held a working meeting last Wednesday, January 11 with the Director General of Centers of the Autonomous Community, Mª Dolores Valcárcel.

In the same it was specified the agreement that will establish the City of Alhama with the Education Counseling for the teaching and municipal use of the sports facilities of the new IES Valle de Leiva.

Also attending was the architect responsible for the project of the new institute, as well as the municipal architect and the chief architect of the Ministry of Education, who reviewed the last details of this project.

In a few days the Autonomous Community will have the definitive document for your visa.

In addition, the last necessary documentation was agreed for the assignment of the municipal parcels where the teaching building and the sports courts are to be built.

The City Council will be in charge of the construction of the sports pavilion, which will be municipal property.

Once these procedures have been resolved and the favorable report of the counseling has been sent, the project and the beginning of the works will be tendered.
