On Sunday, January 29, the "Guadalentín Complex" was played on the Athletics Track, the third and final day of the "League of Men's Clubs", as well as the "Third Semifinal Individual, Benjamín and Alevín".
With regard to the League of Clubs, the young team of Club Athletics Alhama, after disputing the first two days on the slopes of Murcia and Cartagena, and having imposed on both, started in an assured first position.
Winning also the last day and proclaiming Regional Champions of Clubs.
The Alevín team, who had been second in the first day disputed in Murcia and third, in the day disputed in Cartagena, started as second classified of the league of clubs, tied to points with the Cartagena club, Elcano.
For that they had to fight second place in the last day, prevailing to the rest of clubs of the region and being the set alhameño Regional Runners of Clubs.
Regarding the individual results, the Alhamani athletes made a brilliant performance and fought for a place in the final "faces", which will be played in late February and early March.
From the Club Athletics Alhama, we want to congratulate all the athletes for the triumphs obtained and to encourage them to continue training and enjoying the athletics.
