The Labor Foundation of Murcia has received a grant of 34,000 euros from the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment, through the SEF, to give four courses that will allow 60 young people under 30 who do not study or They are working to be employed in the construction sector.
These are four calls for the training action 'Auxiliary operations of masonry of factories and decks', which with the co-financing of the European Social Fund will give these young people enrolled in Youth Guarantee the possibility of obtaining a certificate of professionalism that will accredit them to Working as masonry workers, construction laborers and bricklayers, among other trades of the sector.
These courses, which will start in the next few days in the headquarters that the entity has in Alhama de Murcia, have a total of 190 hours of training, of which 150 correspond to theory and 40 to practices.
Participants will be able to develop the skills acquired during the theoretical training period in the Foundation's facilities, specifically in an area specifically qualified for specialties such as masonry and crane operator.
With the aim of publicizing this offer of courses to young people benefiting from Youth Guarantee, both from Alhama de Murcia and other nearby municipalities, the Labor Foundation of Construction held today a day of open doors attended by the CEO Of SEF, Alejandro Zamora, the mayor of the town, Diego Conesa, and the manager of the said Foundation, Rafael López.
During his speech at the event, Zamora stressed that "it is necessary to add efforts so that as many young people as possible know the details of the 450 training courses we offer you from the Youth Guarantee program. Of quality that they have at their disposal and that, no doubt, will contribute to improving their employment options. "
In addition to knowing the Youth Guarantee courses that can be carried out in the Labor Foundation of Construction, the assistants also received information about the different aid that the SEF grants to the participants in these courses, to facilitate their attendance to them.
For example, students who live far from the place where a course is taught can apply for a scholarship for transport and maintenance, and those who have dependent children or relatives, an aid to family reconciliation.
