The mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Diego Conesa, and the president of the FFRM, José Miguel Monje, through his representative in the municipality, Francisco Egea, have signed this morning an agreement for the donation of three defibrillation teams for the fields Of soccer and municipal pavilions where soccer is played in the municipal term and they do not have them.
The defibrillators will be located on the soccer fields of the Guadalentín sports complex, in the Adolfo Suárez Pavilion and in the Sierra Espuña pavilion.
The practice of sports is increasingly widespread as a healthy activity, but it is not without certain risks and among them is the possibility of suffering a cardiac arrest due to overexertion or illness.
The agreement signed today aims to protect those spaces by installing these devices that apply electric shocks to a cardiac arrest to try to restore the normal rhythm of the heart.
The Federation of Soccer of the Region of Murcia has acquired a significant amount of defibrillators with the intention of donating them to the institutions that manage the sports centers where football is practiced, through collaboration agreements.
On March 10 began the first of the training courses to be given to municipal workers on the management of the defibrillator (http://alhamademurcia.es/noticia.asp?cat=6636).
