ElPozo Alimentación will invest almost one million euros in the construction of a new public parking next to the company with 328 places that will also be able to use the citizens of the locality.
ElPozo Food and the City of Alhama de Murcia today reached an agreement for the construction of the aforementioned public parking, which contemplates an investment of 941,645 euros by the company.
The president and CEO of Grupo Fuertes, Tomás Fuertes and José Fuertes respectively, as well as the city's mayor, Diego Conesa, were in charge of ratifying the agreement at the company's headquarters today.
In order to solve a road safety problem in the municipality, ElPozo Alimentación has collaborated with the City of Alhama de Murcia to find a solution that translates into a new public parking for the locality, which will also be used by the company's workers.
The works to enable the new parking will begin in May and will have an execution period of eight months.
Parking will have video surveillance 24 hours a day.
The State Highway Demarcation has authorized, indefinitely, the assignment of land use to the city council, which in turn provides them to the company.
El Pozo Alimentación also assumes the payment of the annual fee to State Roads.
ElPozo Alimentación will also assume all the tasks of maintenance of the new car park related to cleaning, asphalt repair, signaling or painted road markings.
