The Department of Education of the City of Alhama de Murcia is promoting these days, through the program "Un ratito plus" the making of peleles or mayos among the young.
The purpose of these workshops is to make known the techniques of elaboration of these elements, which are the basis of our most unique party, within the wide range of activities that are developed in schools.
It is intended for children aged 3 to 12 years and will be developed in the six public schools, as well as in the unitary schools of the districts, in collaboration with the AMPAS of each center.
The technician Simón García formed the monitors of Animunis Animation, company in charge of the service, who in turn have taught to the children the elaboration of the peleles following the tradition.
This weekend, coinciding with the planted, will expose all these majors at the door of Animunis Park (C / Totana, 3 Alhama de Murcia).
