The purpose of the meeting was to request collaboration with the dissemination of the program of events and briefings and preventive sessions on tropical diseases, in this case Chagas disease among the Latin American community, especially the Bolivian.
These sessions take place at the Hospital Clínico Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca.
The City Council was at your disposal and agreed to hold a meeting in Alhama to convene the Bolivian population residing in our municipality.
For this they contacted the consulate of Bolivia in Murcia who was willing to collaborate, as well as the Asapechamur patients' association.
That is why next May 31, at 8:00 p.m.
In the multipurpose room of the Ginés Díaz - San Cristóbal school, there will be an informative session on Chagas disease, in coordination with the Regional Unit of Tropical Medicine of Murcia (MTM) of the Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca and the City of Alhama de Murcia.
Participation in this event is of great importance, since it will optimize the process of fighting Chagas disease among the Bolivian and Latin American community residing in the Region of Murcia.
