A student of the school Ginés Díaz San Cristóbal de Alhama has been a finalist of the Child and Youth Painting Contest for School Centers, which this year marks its 26th edition.
The purpose of the contest is to divulge, among children and young people, the monuments, palaces and royal monasteries that make up National Heritage, through its plastic expression.
The contest has had the participation of hundreds of students from different schools and institutes throughout Spain, among which the organization has awarded three prizes for Primary and three for Secondary.
In addition there are a series of finalist works, where the Pedro Pedro Muñoz, 5th grade elementary, will be exhibited next to the winners.
The event will take place on Thursday, June 8 at 7 pm in the Royal Palace of El Pardo and will be chaired by HRH the Infanta Elena, who will deliver the various awards.
Pedro Jesús will be accompanied by his mother, teacher Mª Carmen Molina and two companions, Laura Paz and Antonio Chacón representing the 16 students who have participated in the contest by this school.
