The mayor of Alhama, Diego Conesa, and representatives of the association Proyecto Abraham have signed this morning a new agreement of collaboration with the City Council for the implementation of a system of selective collection of textiles, footwear and toys in the municipality.
The association has in the municipality and districts of Alhama a total of 24 containers, of which one has ceded to Caritas Interparroquial, in particular the one that is located in the Sánchez Vidal street, between the church of San Lázaro and the garden of the Archaeological Museum Los Baños.
Councilor for the Environment, Antonio Garcia, has encouraged to use these containers "without fear, since we have certified its use and there is no secondary market" while insisting on the importance of "not depositing clothes, footwear And play them in organic containers because it makes the cost of the service more expensive and we do not know where to go next.
