The Councilor for Social Services, Felipe García, met this Wednesday with the Director General for Territorial Planning, Architecture and Housing of the Autonomous Community, Laura Sandoval.
A meeting attended by the Director of the Office for Social Housing Management, Federico Viudes, and the municipal technician responsible for the administrative management of social housing of the CARM in the municipality, Elena Palacios.
García requested information on the management of the rental fees of the municipality's housing stock.
The councilman reported the different actions that the City of Alhama has undertaken and assumed to maintain the good condition of the houses and asked to carry out an inspection to undertake different repairs, especially in the common areas of the buildings.
Felipe García asked the Autonomous Community to carry out, through legal reports, the necessary procedures for the occupation, exchange and adjudication of housing.
In this sense, specific issues were addressed that affect different residents of the municipality awarded several of the public housing in the locality, as well as the protocols of action to be followed in these cases in order to regularize different situations, making them aware of the urgency thereof.
From the council has requested collaboration between the CARM (homeowners) and the City (management of applicants) to improve the operation of the housing stock in the town.
