The mayor of Alhama, Diego Conesa, and the Councilor for Health, Mariola Guevara, have met with the new coordinator of the emergency service in the municipality, Pilar Contreras.
The meeting has served to convey the needs of the current center and how the new emergency room is located.
Conesa explained that "the City Council is willing to provide the necessary spaces and have a full collaboration with the Murcian Health Service to optimize the services provided, such as physiotherapy and early care."
Mariola Guevara has also explained the significant increase in services provided since the services were closed in the afternoon and the urgencies of Librilla: "from here is attended Alhama, Librilla, the five districts and assistance in summer throughout the county Of Alhama ".
"The dispersion in the emergency services needs human resources and within the new spaces requires a new nursing office, because many times there are two or three people who are there," said the councilor.
The City Council puts at the disposal of the Autonomous Community the old ambulatory and the part of early attention to locate the new emergency service, sharing the new space of physiotherapy, where now is located urgencies.
