The prevention and surveillance service provided by the Local Police to control the possession and consumption of narcotic substances will have a new member in the next few days: a "police dog".
For this, the City Council has signed a contract with the company Thaidogtrainers, responsible for these animals, with a duration of five months extendable and a cost of 1,000 euros / month plus VAT.
The canine will be accompanied at all times by a uniformed guide, along with police officers, and will perform a total of eight services a month for the detection of narcotics, such as hashish and marijuana.
