ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN has received the Acocex Bankia Award for its international trajectory for being a pioneer in the export of meat foods and to be present in 82 countries.
The Association of Foreign Trade Professionals (Acocex) and Bankia celebrated yesterday the second edition of their awards for Internationalization in which ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN has been awarded together with Grupo Hedisa, Pisamonas, Gioseppo, Feria de Madrid-Ifema, Moyca, the journalist of 'Exterior Company' Nahjla Isaacs and the person in charge of Internationalization of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Valladolid, Ana Atienza.
The award ceremony took place at the Museo Lázaro Galdiano in Madrid with the presence of the president of Acocex, Rafael Cascales, and the corporate director of SMEs of Bankia, Juan Luis Vidal Álvarez-Ossorio.
Cascales has ensured that the internationalization of the Spanish company is causing "a growth rate of exports around 9 percent year on year" and has highlighted the sectors of equipment, food and consumer goods as the most booming.
ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN began exporting in 1988, the same year in which the national market was opened.
Among its milestones, it stands out as the first company to commercialize fuet to Japan, to be a pioneer in opening commercial offices abroad and adapting its products to the needs of each market, among others.
