Last weekend the 30th edition of the Costa Cálida Orientation Trophy was held.
A competition that went through Alhama and that had a special significance on Saturday, February 17, with a sprint race through the urban area of ​​the town (https://goo.gl/wuBfqX).
The lodging data show figures of more than 300 overnight stays in the municipality, to which must be added those recorded in other municipalities of the Sierra Espuña Tourist Association: Totana, Mula and Pliego - the last was the competition zone -.
More than 200 people camped in the facilities of the Sierra Espuña pavilion, generating also had a positive economic impact on the trade and hotel industry during the weekend.
