The Mayor Alhama, Diego Conesa, and the Councilor for Education, Mariola Guevara, held a meeting today with the Director General of Vocational Training and Special Education, Sergio López, and with the Chief of Service, Luis Eduardo Gómez.
At the meeting, the municipal representatives have transferred to those responsible for this area the request for new vocational training modules in Alhama, as they were advanced last year, after the meeting of the Local Council of Economy and Employment, with the aim of covering the demands of qualified personnel for the new companies of the municipality.
They have also asked to start up a logistics and transport module for the next course taking into account the labor needs of the various companies in the sector in the municipality, since the term for the admission of students for this type of education will soon be opened.
The Director General announced that they are going to implement in Alhama the technical cycle of Water Management for the 2018-2019 academic year and that they will study these applications.
