The idea of collaborating in search of the small Gabriel Cruz Ramírez, who disappeared on February 27 in the Paraje de Las Hortichuelas (Níjar), started with the agents who requested authorization from the Local Police Headquarters to join, on their days off and from voluntarily, to the broad device deployed in the hamlet of Níjar de Las Negras.
The Chief Officer arranged the means, requested authorization from the Municipality of Alhama de Murcia and contacted the advanced command post to facilitate the incorporation of 15 agents to the search tasks during the past days.
The assigned tasks were those of meticulous combing of certain areas with the aim of locating any evidence or vestige that could throw any clue to the clarification of the facts.
The abruptness of the place, the abundant bushes and the numerous ramblas make it difficult to trace the agents deployed around the place where the child was last seen as well as where the undergarment appeared.
In the next few days they will move again to Almeria lands to continue collaborating in the search, although they hope it will not be necessary because of the appearance alive of little Gabriel.
