The City Council of Alhama de Murcia, through the councils of Equality, Employment and Local Development, and the Intergenerational Solidarity organization launch a free gerontological training course, aimed at both men and women, active or unemployed.
It is funded by the Family and Equal Opportunities Council, with the collaboration of the Coordinator of Farmers and Livestock Organizations (COAG)
It will take place from May 8 to 31, from Monday to Thursday in the afternoon from 4 to 8 pm.
in the Business Incubator for Women (C / Luis Pasteur s / n).
Course objectives:
• To sensitize caregivers of elderly people who are dependent on the importance of receiving adequate training.
• Train caregivers of dependent elderly people on issues related to aging.
• Provide caregivers of dependents with resources and basic skills to care for their family members.
• Provide family caregivers with basic strategies to plan the care provided to the dependent person.
• Provide people with basic knowledge about dependence, aging and necessary care.
