The City Council of Alhama de Murcia, through the councils of Agriculture and Livestock, Employment and Local Development, together with the Meles Association, collaborates in the 'Course for sustainable agriculture.
Techniques for the promotion of biodiversity, soil conservation and the minimization of agrochemicals', organized by ANSE (https://www.asociacionanse.org) and intended for active workers in the Region of Murcia, the Valencian Community and Andalusia .
It will take place from May 7 to 10 from 16.30 to 21.30 in the sports complex Guadalentín.
It is a theoretical-practical course of 20 hours, which will be grouped into three classroom sessions and a practical field visit session to an exploitation of the environment.
It is free and requires prior registration.
The project aims to promote sustainable practices in conventional and ecological agriculture, with special emphasis on the promotion of biodiversity, erosion control and reduction of pollutants.
In addition, an attempt will be made to bring conventional farmers closer to organic farming and an implementation of measures to improve sustainability in the activity.
Training and advisory actions will be carried out for farmers and other workers in the agricultural sector, paying special attention to areas vulnerable to nitrate pollution and intensive agriculture.
