The Official Bulletin of the Region of Murcia (BORM) has published, on April 18, 2018, the regulatory bases for granting subsidies, for a total amount of 30,000 euros, so that professionals in the taxi sector can renew and acquire eurotaxis vehicles adapted to people with reduced mobility.
The purpose of this aid is to promote the modernization of the fleet of regional vehicles through the renovation and incorporation of new ones, as well as to compensate the economic effort made by taxi professionals when purchasing an adapted car.
The granting of the subsidies will be carried out under a competitive concurrency regime, until the available credit is exhausted, of 30,000 euros.
It is intended for the holders in active of an authorization of interurban transport in automobiles of tourism and of the corresponding license of eurotaxis, granted by some municipality of the Region.
For the granting of subsidies, the age of the vehicle being replaced will be assessed.
In case of a tie, the seniority of the applicant in the ownership of the transport authorization will prevail.
The payment of the aid will be in advance, for the users who renew the vehicles after the publication of the summoning order, or prior justification, for those who have acquired the eurotaxi prior to the publication of the order.
Those interested in applying for grants will have a term of 20 days counted from the day following the publication of the call for grants in the BORM.
