The City of Alhama de Murcia has signed an agreement with Red Cross for the second consecutive year, which aims to give the municipality a more ambulance, equipped with everything necessary to rehabilitate injuries.
The Mayor of Alhama, José Espadas, accompanied by the mayor of Health, José Miguel Muñoz signed an agreement with the President of the Assembly Local Red Cross Belchí Francisco, on Saturday 25.
He explained that the mayor of Health, the agreement achieved to serve the neighbors over for an ambulance at the door of the Health Center.
With the signing of that agreement, the Health Center has three ambulances, a care not to transport patients who need rehabilitation, and two others with Basic Life Support, a characteristic of the center and another thanks to an agreement with Red Cross .
The mayor highlighted the work of the Assembly Local Red Cross and highlighted the beneficial character of the institution with their selfless work for the society.
Under that agreement, the City delivers to voluntary humanitarian organization, the annual amount of 53,000 euros to cover the insurance costs of ambulance and mechanical maintenance.
For its part, the Red Cross is committed to working with the relief activities and cover emergencies and public events, cultural entertainment, festivals, sports and social work in the transport - health emergency in the municipality with the support of medical staff and, in general, in situations of massive presence of people and extraordinary risk and catastrophe in the municipality.
The agreement was signed in the park in Las Americas, building a collaboration of the local assembly with the council, which organized games with the children during the presentation of the enhanced green space.
