On 27 September, presented the 26th edition of the "Festival of bands from Alhama de Murcia. The ceremony was attended by José Antonio Ayala, president of the School of Music of the town, John Romero, Deputy Mayor of Culture, and José Antonio Gomez, director of the same.
Juan Romero defended the value of music in modern society and Alhama parties who claimed that "these parties could not be understood without the music."
During the ceremony the director of the School of Music in Alhama presented the program of activities which take place this year.
New this year will be held at the Cine Velasco and will be held on Sunday October 3 from 20:00
They serve the "Group of Aledo Musical" Music Band Music Holder Board Columbine, "Francisco Díaz Romero," and the "Agrupación Musical de Alhama de Murcia."
In his speech José Antonio Gómez stressed the great work of Jose Antonio Ayala, who said he is "the real engine of the festival."
It also qualified that these three bands "are possibly the oldest in the Region of Murcia" demonstrating the love of music and the delight he feels in these three town for music.

that has occurred particularly in the last year.
Regarding the change of location explained that this provides a better hearing (in the auditorium sounds mingled with the rest of the fair) and provide any incident in the rain, almost always present during the festivities.
The last speaker at the event was the president of the Agrupación Musical de Alhama, Jose Antonio Ayala, who was responsible for shelling the Action Plan, detailing each of the topics that will be heard during the festival: a total of 12 items to be shared among the three groups of musicians.
