43 people discuss the future of El Berro and its environment (13/10/2010)

Farmers, restaurateurs, entrepreneurs, residents, landowners, village headman, representatives of neighborhood associations in the area or women in El Berro, hunters, environmentalists, city councilors, experts from the Directorate General of Natural Heritage, the Regional Office land or both councils in the area, discussed during the day on October 4 on measures needed for sustainable development area.

After several general presentations and explanation of the keys of the Strategic Plan and its surroundings Berro, attendees were organized into 6 working groups to discuss Social Dynamism, Natural Heritage, Cultural Heritage, Productive Systems, Infrastructure and Institutional Management.

The participants appreciated the workshop, while for several of the residents was a great and pleasant surprise to get so many people gather in the House of Culture of El Berro, proving that its demands were heard and know the intention of the Regional Park of Sierra Espuña and the entire DG Landscape and Biodiversity is to respond to them through the revitalization and development of this plan.
