This Monday was made in the City's Campaign Grows in Security "Occupational Health and Safety aimed primarily at children and young people, funded by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, which has taken place in our town since 2005.
This campaign is coordinated by the area of Employment and Local Development.
The general objectives are:
Fill in the school life the importance of prevention to the quality of life both at school, family and social.
That the general public aware of the need for a full Occupational Health.
That the above information is transferred directly and closely affected.
That the rate of accidents is reduced.
Paving the way for collaboration between the municipality and the social and educational interests of the municipality in achieving full Occupational Health and reducing accidents.
To achieve these objectives, the activities undertaken in previous years have been some talks given at colleges and institutes, the students of the courses designated for each year, where they have been given different materials consisting of an interactive CD and a comic a folder.
Another activity that has been held every year has been a drawing or writing, where kids have reflected the importance of risk prevention through pictures or text, and many are rewarded for their work.

For the year 2010 the campaign will be directed to students in grades 5 primary, for which 10 events are scheduled to attend the 243 children.
Dissemination will be undertaken through posters in all Schools and Institutes of the municipality as well as in public buildings and other places with public attendance.
Subsequently held a drawing contest, which is open to all children who attend 5 th grade, and whose bases are explained to all those attending the talks.
The awards will be distributed to the winners of drawing competition are:
1, 2 and 3: A digital camera.
4, 5 and 6: A MP4.
7, 8, 9 and 10: A lot of books.
