Young children and adults have participated actively in the events of Day of the Constitution (09/12/2010)

During these days, the city of Alhama has hosted several events to commemorate the Day of the Constitution that have sought to highlight the importance of the document that was born while democracy in our state.

Ex council spoke of the Constitution

The hall of the local Town Hall on Thursday 2 hosted the presentation of three former council members of the Consistory that highlighted various articles of the Constitution.

Antonio Diaz, a former councilor of PP, María Dolores Romero, a former mayor of the PSOE and Matías Romero, UI and before the PC was submitted by the municipal mayor, José Espadas Lopez, who, before, spoke of the Constitution as an indispensable instrument for good practice of democracy.

Antonio Díaz Martínez is a professor of Elementary Education for 37 years, but currently is in his hometown as a public school director Ricardo Codorniu.

He has also participated in other fields of social and political life of the town as a councilman and Democratic Social Centre, Red Cross President and Councillor of Education, Culture and Tourism from 1999 to 2003.

For its part, M ª Dolores Romero Martínez, a psychologist, has worked at the center of Drivers "San Lazaro" 1984, in the Office of Women's Hall of Lorca from 1987 to 1989, has been director of the Center for Social Services of Eagles " Puerto Lumbreras from 1989 to 1991 and is director of the Center for Social Services of the Commonwealth of Social Services in 1992 Mula River.

He was also Alhama town council from 1983 to 1991 and deputy for Murcia in the V Congress Legislature in 1995 to replace Jorge Novella.

Chose to highlight the importance of Articles 9 and 14 of the Constitution on the government and the equality of all Spanish.

The third panellist, Matías Romero Serrano, has been closely related to the CCOO union as part of its Local Executive, its Regional Council and as Secretary of Finance of the Federation of Trade CCOO.

IU was councilman and city spokesman in the legislature from 1987 to 1991, from 1991 to 1995, from 1995 to 1999 and from 1999 to 2003.

It has also been coordinated local IU from 1991 to 1999 and was part of Team Finance Government and council from September 1997 to June 1999.

Opted by Articles 9 and 23 on citizen participation.

Full with young people in schools

The youth of the town were involved with the acts taking part in an extraordinary plenary session in which acted as a council.

So eight mayors of IES Valle de Leiva and eight of Miguel Hernández revealed constitutional rights such as housing, environment, education, health, etc.

Also, took the opportunity to claim protection for the elderly, youth activities, greater environmental protection or improvement of the health system.

The mayor was responding to young people and their own council areas which were alluded to.

The deputies gave explanations to young people about their management and provided a few questions I wanted to do.

The session also was attended by two authorized officers of the Consistory, the secretary and the comptroller, and directors of schools.

Specifically, the IES Valle de Leiva participated as councilors Germain López Ruiz, Ismael Marin Amine, Alcon Elisabeth Hernández, Khadijah Erredidy, Maria Cristina Lucas Hernández, Eva Gonzalez Rubio, Yousra El Harkmi and Ana Huertas Martínez.

Did the Miguel Hernández Juan José Albacete Sevilla, Carmen Ayala Espinosa, Francisco Javier Sánchez López, Elías Romero Clark, Alicia Rodríguez Martínez, Mario Navarro Hermosilla, Irene Clark Gil Garcia and Maria Luisa Lopez-Acosta.

The experience was so enjoyable for all parties voted unanimously to repeat the experience next year.

Open Day

Acts of Constitution Day concluded with a open day at the local Town Hall the same Constitution Day on Monday, 6.

The occasion was exploited, especially by children accompanied by their parents who were interested in knowing not only the building and its departments but also to talk and meet the mayor, José Espadas and the other council members who acted as a guide.
