The City of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Commerce, works to encourage public attendance at local shops.
In this line of work, on the morning of Sunday Jan. 2, the students of Plastic Arts Workshop alhameño given by artist Alonso Sánchez, show their work in booths set up in the Plaza de la Constitution.
José Miguel Muñoz, Councillor of Commerce, also highlighted the initiative, propose to the visitors who began painting.
It will be through a large canvas painting which involve not only students of the workshop, but also those who wish to do so.
In this regard, the artist claimed that seeks to demonstrate "that everyone can paint."
Arts Workshop which takes place in the afternoon in the basement of the Municipal Auditorium, provides training to students from age six, and no age limit.
There the students learn all about the art of painting and begin training in this skill.
Moreover, during these days, the workshop teacher and artist, Blesa Sánchez Alonso, is painting in front of City Hall a picture of the Plaza of the Constitution as part of the initiative.
