At 12 o'clock in the morning's plenary session began to form the new Corporation of the City of Alhama de Murcia that during this term, has come to be formed by 21 councilors compared with 17 of the previous.
Directed by the Town Clerk, David Ré Soriano is old table was composed of major and minor members of the council members were elected and Maria Carmen Romera and Ignacio Martínez Díaz Melgarejo.
One by one they were all elected council members sworn in promising or giving way to the polls for mayor of Alhama de Murcia.
The clerk was counting with the following result: 12 votes for Fernando Alfonso Cerón Morales, mayoral candidate for the Partido Popular, 6 votes for José Espadas Lopez, Socialist Party candidate and outgoing mayor and 3 votes for John Romero García, candidate Greens and United Left.
In this way, it was clear the deal announced by the formation of PP and CCD (which had been 3 aldermen in the elections) to form a government.
With these results, President of City Council appointed Mayor of Alhama de Murcia popular candidate, Fernando Alfonso Cerón Morales, whom the president of the Bureau of Age, Maria Carmen Romera Diaz proclaimed mayor and gave the significant baton.
Thus, the new Municipal Corporation, is comprised the following members:
