To lay the groundwork to make a better Alhama, a municipality creates opportunities for the future, with a commitment to training and support economic activity and improved services and facilities, the Citizens Popular Party and Democratic Centre decide to reach an agreement to govern the city of Alhama de Murcia over the next four years by filing a proposal to Government in Parliament that will take place on June 11, the day of establishment of the new municipal corporation and election of Mayor-President of our City.
This alliance brings together the campaign promises of both parties and signature represents a commitment to implementation, representing a victory for the citizens and promoting a better quality of life for residents, a clear commitment by a council more participatory, transparent and democratic.
Therefore, this covenant was created in order to achieve the following objectives:
1.-Securing political stability in the city of Alhama de Murcia in the 2011-2015 term in order to achieve greater development and progress of our town for the benefit of all alhameños.
2.-government formalize an agreement between PP and CCD in Alhama de Murcia, which outlines an agreed program of priority actions of both political parties (Annex 1), which includes policies to promote employment, caring for people, measures for management transparency and citizen participation and strong leadership to achieve the educational infrastructure, health, social and highways, which Alhama need.
This will draw together an annual plan setting out the mandate actions to be taken over the legislature.
3.-To conduct a management study done to determine the true state of the finances of the City Council and capabilities.
4.-rigorously manage local finances, under the principle of austerity and cost containment in concrete actions such as reducing salaries of members of the government team, containment and rationalization of expenditure on staff, running costs and reduction protocol , etc.
to avoid tax increases.
5.-Improve the functioning of municipal services and citizen services through the Citizen's Advice Bureau and the Ombudsman Neighbor, dependent care and the Department of Citizen Participation.
To fulfill these objectives, under a mayor's Party, which will be Alfonso Fernando Cerón, will be distributed to different councils and delegations between the remaining eleven council members, taking into account the preferences and capabilities of each of the persons who compose a team united and stable job that will govern the town of Alhama de Murcia over the next four years.
