In October, the city of Alhama through its Department of Culture and Heritage, a project started digging in the area of ​​the town of Field in Las Palmeras.
The project concluded with the ending in June.
The archaeological excavation work developed during these months have recovered a set of rooms for room structures, five silos, and ceramic storage, table, kitchen, hand mills, etc..
for daily life in the village in the ninth century.
The hiring of workers to develop such a project has been undertaken by the Employment and Training Service (SEF).
The necessary equipment has been placed by the City Council, who sponsored the initiative.
As final work, the participants in this project archeology Alhama visited the excavation sites of the strip of canvas and Bastida de Totana directed by Professor Vicente Llull at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
