The Governing Council has given its approval to an agreement between the Autonomous Region and the Ministry of Education to fund public squares of the first cycle of infant education in the framework of the Educa3.
This agreement will allow the creation of new nursery schools and increase therefore the supply of places for children up to three years.
The program includes the creation of 424 beds in the towns of Alhama de Murcia, Mula, Jumilla and San Javier.
Each of these towns have six children units with a total of 106 seats, of which four units will be for children from 2 to 3 years and two for less than 1 to 2 years.
For the implementation of these places the Community will receive a total of 3,917,995 euros.
