The Granary building houses the exhibition "Portraits" Formateart organized by the Association, in collaboration with the City, until 30 October.
On Friday 14, the mayor of Alhama, Fernando Alfonso Ceron, along with the Councillor for Culture and Heritage, accompanied by Manuel Nicolas Formateart founder of the Association, opened the exhibition which includes the work of the Arts Workshop III that the partnership has developed in collaboration with the City.
The mayor highlighted the great work of the partnership that has exposed students to a series of works with a highly developed technique.
It also highlighted the importance of the painters of Alhama, as the teacher's own workshop, Alonso Sanchez, who was not present at the event as he was collecting an award at that time.
Similarly Councillor expressed the influences aimed Pop Art movement in the paintings on display.
For his part, Nicholas talked about the great history of the association, founded by Alonso Sanchez, Isa Martinez and himself.
Nicholas Manuel noted that the association is not only doing jobs around the painting, but also to the movies.
The exhibition includes a series of portraits of students, of all ages, set out in the second floor of the positive.
