On Friday October 14 at the Tourism Office of Murcia Alhama conducted the first follow-up audit of the Q for Tourist Quality.
During this audit we reviewed all areas of work and services offered by the Office to its visitors, and the documentation prepared by the office staff regarding the quality system in place: quality manual, statistical reports and indicators, reports and environmental management procedures, annual reports, and reception procedure manual and quality system reviews.
The auditor followed up each of the service units as required quality standard: Address, Information and Reception, Supply and Marketing and Infrastructure and Maintenance.
We reviewed the responsibilities and requirements of each area and the services that comprise:
In the area of ​​management policy recognized quality management, planning, organization, management system of quality, safety and risk prevention, environmental management and control of resources and continuous improvement.
In the Host Information section and the auditor verified that the requirements are met on arrival presence information and information not originally face, highlighting strong point of the office to provide these services with a high level of quality.
In the Supply and Marketing unit inspected the databases, the relationship with suppliers of tourist destination, the communication of this offer at the inquiry and welcome, conducted the studies and statistics and institutional services.
Within the Infrastructure and Maintenance unit is controlled access, the terms of the hardware, heating and cooling systems, cleaning, maintenance, information technology and security.
After the inspection were not detected deviations or incidents, so that the audit report was favorable.
The auditor expressed his recommendations for further continuous improvement and highlighted three key strengths of the Office of Tourism:
One was the provision of information service and hospitality as already mentioned.
Another strength was the technical work from the Tourist Office in collaboration with the Quality Area Tourist Murcia for the management of internal audit prior conduct of the self and entering the results on the website of the Institute for Spanish Tourist Quality.
The auditor concluded positively highlighting the commitment and involvement of the Tourism Councillor Carmen Maria Rodriguez Canovas with implementing and maintaining the Quality System.
