Early in the morning, the mayor of Alhama, Alfonso Fernando Ceron, aided by the Councillor for Social Welfare, Maria Carmen Diaz and representatives of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, put a pink bow on the balcony of City Hall.
With this gesture, the City Council has joined the campaign against breast cancer organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer in collaboration with the City Council and the Association of Dealers in Alhama.
Also, taking advantage of the celebration of the weekly market, the aforementioned association supported by several members of the municipal government team, have put pink ribbons to neighbors.
Moreover, a large number of local businesses have also placed roses motifs in their windows.
