The City Council schedule a talk on the red palm weevil in order to provide more information about the pest and to address it (11/11/2011)
On Thursday November 17, 2011, from 20:00 pm in the Auditorium of the Women's Business Incubator, will develop a talk on the red palm weevil (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus).
The talk will be given by Telesforo Crevillén Garcia, manager of the Plant Protection Service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water in the Region of Murcia.
They can assist all persons who own palm, as well as experts in landscaping and the general public who is interested in the subject.
The ultimate goal of this activity is to make known to all people attending what this plague, what effects and what to do if you meet her in the palm of your property.
Admission is free.
