The Municipality of Alhama, through the Department of Industries and R & D has signed an agreement this morning with the Polytechnic University of Cartagena that provide business support Alhama in research, development and innovation.
The rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Felix Faura Mateu and the mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Fernando Alfonso Morales Ceron, signed an agreement this morning that aims to set the channels for the joint creation of advisory, research and training .
The Chancellor stressed that the University not only for training purposes, but also for research and, specifically, the investigation of the polytechnic can be a useful tool for the company.
The agreement will act in two directions.
On the one hand, employers may expose the scope of its business and the University study to suggest improvements and vice versa, the University will make available their research so they can be applied to the company.
Furthermore, the development of university research are eligible for financial aid that the university is responsible for proposing in cases that are viable.
The Mayor of Alhama de Murcia was pleased with the signing of this agreement that is new in town and most of the region.
It also noted that due to the time of the economic deficit that crosses it is very important that our entrepreneurs to develop and innovate in their businesses as crucial weapon to place in the market.
This sense, Councillor R & D + i, Ignacio Martinez, who has promoted the firm, highlighted the importance of township enterprises have the support of university research, what can be a support in the development achieving innovation and also various government and international aid.
It also announced that following the signing of the agreement, the next step is to call all businessmen CIDE building a chat with the representatives of the Technical University where he will explain in detail the possibilities offered to the signed agreement, provided that fields of study and development are provided in the Polytechnic.
To give effect to the agreement, which will run for four years with possible extension, shall be established a joint commission monitoring, consisting of members of both parties, which draw timetables for action and duration of activities.
In addition, this agreement is no cost to the City of Alhama.
