The mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Fernando Alfonso Ceron, together with the Councillor for Education, Ana Fernandez, invited by the management, enjoyed a pleasant and nice school visit Richard and Codorniu.
Accompanied by the director and the head teacher, could see the incredible work done by students in the week of Literature, dedicated to the novel "Around the World in Eighty Days" by Jules Verne.
Located in different parts of the building in the center, students had recreated different parts of the trip prolific stage in Japan, India, the UK and Egypt.
In each of these stops, you could see from the carriage in which they were the characters in the novel as the most outstanding symbols of the country, their customs, their dress, or culture.
The work has allowed the students to learn about other countries and other cultures and, above all, with the help of Phileas Fogg and his assistant Passepartout, the French Jules Verne character, recognized as one of the fathers of science fiction.
The activities of students and teachers, have been supplemented by others made by parents what the week of Letters in the center and Codorniu Ricardo was a major "trip" shared by the entire downtown community.
