The Commercial Projects EMBLEMATIC Murcia, SA, had written in our town on the proposed amendment to the Agreement signed with the City Council Urban Development, management and implementation of a theme park in the Municipality of Alhama de Murcia, and accompanying text of the Convention as amended incorporating the developments that have taken.
Since the amendments to the Convention proposed Urban were not a substantial modification of the same, if not better accuracy of the project, and with the new version is getting the intended purpose of implementation of the Theme Park "Paramount" in our municipality, such proposal was reported favorably by the municipal technical proposal to the plenary for public exhibition and general knowledge, seeking greater transparency and disclosure of such modification.
This modification was addressed in the Commission's Information Infrastructure, Planning, Works and Services, Industry and Trade, May 24, 2012, where it was agreed that the text will be exposed to the public include all the news for clarity and for approval, developments can be summarized as:
a) Reconsider its physical environment, not having executed the purchase option for a third as originally planned.
b) To adjust the schedule to the demands of environmental and urban planning process, whose deadline for licensing is calculated for the month of November.
c) Apply on land owned flagship projects Murcia, SA, the project's development will "Paramount" which remains intact.
d) Keep all the guarantees required in the initial agreement, especially those relating to the special plan of infrastructure and the security of having all services, endowments and infrastructure needed to make the project viable.
Following the plenary discussion was passed to admit the application for Amendment of the Agreement signed with the merchant Urban Projects EMBLEMATIC Murcia, SA, for the development, management and implementation of a theme park in the Municipality of Alhama de Murcia, with the modifications proposed by the socialist group and the clarifications proposed by UI, post it on the BORM and start again the processing to retain the scope where the theme park will be implemented.
This new procedure ensures the transparency and participation in a project of this scale and certainly strengthens environmental safeguards and planning to again undergo such procedures.
This new procedure is expected to be completed in November where the council may grant licenses for the start of construction of this theme park, provided it complies with the requirements specified for processing.
The first is to redefine the end of this project with new inclusions of land that currently has closed the commercial and to be presented to this council in June to begin processing and urban environment.
