The People's Party Alhama de Murcia wants to make a regular assessment of the July plenary, noting especially the final approval of the amendment of implementation planning agreement Paramount Park, approved by the government team and the main Opposition party and the unanimously rejected by all groups to route of the AVE in western variant of La Costera.
On the other hand was rejected by the votes of the popular local group the motion presented by IU-Greens in calling for a rejection of the latest measures taken by the Government of the Nation.
In our party we consider this motion as opportunistic as it is very easy to stand against measures that nobody likes and from the Opposition is very easy to criticize, but when you have responsibilities of government is another matter.
That happens to UI rules in Andalusia by the PSOE and is also proposing cuts as the reduction between 5 and 10% in the salaries of officials of that community.
Finally, in response to the content of the motion we state the following:
1.-I actually believe these measures hard and painful, which neither likes Rajoy, neither his government nor the members of the PP, but a serious and responsible government has no choice but to take to get Spain out of emergency situation that is, on the edge economic situation has been caused largely by poor administration and mismanagement of the previous socialist government, that if he had acted differently, instead of denying the crisis now should not have taken such drastic measures.
2.-What are unpopular but necessary, since there is no choice but to try to reduce our deficit, if we want markets to continue to give us the money we need to maintain basic public services such as health, education, benefits social or to meet the payment of pensions, unemployment and even the payroll staff.
3.-That if we do not meet the commitment to deficit reduction will not offer any credibility and markets punishing us and we will continue heading for the country's total intervention, as was done in Greece or Portugal with very tough cuts of economic, social and political.
4.-That this government is trying to get us out of a bad situation inherited threatening the sustainability of our economic system and it does not matter wear out or lose votes taking unpopular measures, he understands that his obligation is to try to fix this, clean the accounts and lay the foundations for future economic recovery disposed to many millions of people who unfortunately can not work today.
5.-That the Government's commitment is to lower income tax rates that went up earlier this year cyclical manner for current needs, finding a deficit higher than expected.
And from our group and the party base so we will sue to speed as far as possible a reduction in personal income tax rate, especially for labor income, to somehow compensate the negative effects on purchasing power of the working class will be a VAT hike forced by our partners and us within the average of other European countries.
6. - It took seven plenary to name town streets.
The government team chose to involve all local groups, provided they do not have political connotations, dividing the number of streets between PP, PSOE, and IU CCD.
The Socialist Party did not submit any proposals for their two allocated lanes, IU filed a proposal with political connotations "Alley Cuts" which was rejected.
The PP was assigned to three streets and a CCD.
The names selected by the PP to the streets are as follows: Sister Angelines, Carmen Segovia and Avenue of Nations (the latter is located in the Industrial Park Alhama de Murcia).
The CCD has proposed the name of the painter Antonio Perez Martinez.
Proposals for local groups of the Governing Body unanimously approved by the plenary.
Ultimately we think it is time for fighting, no slice for politics, but to lend a shoulder and all lift our nation from this delicate situation in which it is, putting aside partisan or electioneering.
