This signature is the final impetus to the project and will result in the Special Plan to establish Urban and environmental planning conditions
The mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Fernando Alfonso Ceron, and President and CEO of Flagship Projects Murcianos SA (PREMURSA), Jesus Samper, have signed this morning the new planning agreement that will result in the Urban Special Plan which will govern the project Paramount's LifeStyle Center Park and Alhama.
This agreement replaces the agreement signed in December 2011 and has changed the scope thereof, ie the land on which theme park will be located and LifeStyle Center, 1,554,000 m².
The new Urban Special Plan, therefore, be applied on land already owned and final, which will conclusively establish urban and environmental conditions of the project.
Signing this agreement represents the final urban backing for the project, which is continuing on schedule.
Project implementation will create a total of 16,500 new jobs and in the exploitation phase, 6,100 new jobs, both direct and indirect.
The Paramount Park will become a unique tourist destination in Europe, which will feature the art attractions for all ages, divided into 4 thematic areas as well as with 2 themed hotels.
For its part, the LifeStyle Center aims to establish itself as the hub of business, cultural and leisure in the region throughout the year, thanks to its 7 hotels and recreation area including a Street Mall, restaurants, bars , clubs, casino, convention center, an auditorium and an office area.
The opening of the Paramount Park, and the first phase of the Lifestyle Center, is expected in the first half of 2015.
