The City Council of Alhama de Murcia, through the Councils of Tourism, Training, Employment and Local Development, working with the Centre of Murcia Tourist Qualification and Caja Mediterranean Savings in running the course "The Waiter: a major tourist agent ", which opened on September 4 and will run until the 20th of this month at the Center for Training and Employment, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17 to 21 hours, completing the 24-hour programmed.
The presentation and initiation attended Councillor Training, Employment and Local Development, Sebastian Moreno, who has worked with the Department of Tourism to which this training takes place in Alhama de Murcia, as was originally planned carry out at 8 municipalities and after the application of our City this number has been expanded.
The main objective of this training is to sensitize hospitality workers of the importance of tourism in the region of Murcia, equipping them with the necessary skills and techniques to better meet customer needs, enable them to exercise excellent care and enhance organizational behavior.
The course syllabus contains the following blocks of content:
Customer
Protocol on room service
Introduction to Wine Tasting
Tourism Awareness
The recipients are, primarily, active workers of the hospitality industry, with 25 seats.
Applications have been 52 registered, of which 26 are for hospitality workers of establishments in the city and its districts, three workers from other sectors and 23 unemployed.
The selection was made primarily in response to active workers and the unemployed after following the order of registration.
