The underground municipal parking management depends on the Department of Internal Affairs so its responsible, Diego Huertas, wanted to take stock of what has been its evolution since it was the City Council who chose to management.
Huertas began recalling the sequence of events chronologically, noting that non-payment of concessionary parking management, was cut service light, so the City Council opted for the power supply of parking with no evidence that spending, the company is required to do.
The company fired its workers and, by order of the City Council placed two automatic doors and keys to the car could still be used.
All this happened during the previous term.
He also recalled that the concessionaire of parking management entered into bankruptcy so the City Council opted to stay with the service in order to protect users and to try to make it viable and thus out to tender again.
Managed by the City Council took several steps to make it viable, as leaving the first floor, so far almost exclusively local service, the service user.
Three people were hired to take care of social provision and cleaned, repainted and monitored security.
Since then, the Department of Internal Affairs pays special attention to the daily path of controlling its parking that since the beginning of this new phase, has been improving gradually until today that, according to the mayor, has a minimum deficit of between 400 and 500 euros per month.
Indeed, looking for continuous improvement, the mentioned area has developed a user survey that are valued in all aspects of the service.
With the survey in hand, Diego Huertas highlighted the overall positive rating of all aspects (housekeeping, ..., etc).
