The People's Party of Alhama de Murcia want to make a regular assessment of the September plenary, noting especially the adoption of Amendment No. 5 Municipal General Management Plan of Alhama de Murcia to try to regulate or develop a total of seven urban areas , as are the rules of special bars Ginés Fields Avenue, the regulation of the service areas in the public domain or land regularization of housing on undeveloped land protected by planning in the foothills of Sierra Espuña.
Of note is the interest of the Ministry of Development to convert the rest area of the A-7 between Alhama and Totana in a service area with hotels, gas station and shopping area, something that can definitely benefit our town in terms of generating wealth and employment.
It was also necessary to regulate the issue of pubs and clubs in the Avenida Campos Ginés, already sorting out and now they are given a period of one year from the receipt of the unit works for The Cotton can move to that area or other permitting such uses.
Therefore we consider interesting to regulate this point and defend the need for this fifth amendment of our General Plan that seeks to address a number of needs that have emerged in the urban terrain.
On the other hand we can not fail to mention the point about naming streets of the town which was already in a previous plenary.
While our group made proposals to recognize the work of people like Ms. Carmen Segovia or sister Angeline and in this last plenary volunteers of Civil Protection, the IU-Greens group proposed C / Euro and the socialist group, which has had all summer to think about it, at the last moment had the idea to propose C / de la peseta and C /'s real, taking this matter lightly and showing little seriousness in our view, since in the July plenary claimed that they had not had time to address it with their party, so the mayor left them two months so they could study it calmly.
We therefore believe that this point could have been taken more seriously and have made a more informed proposal.
In other business point although the Opposition made an extensive battery of questions on issues related to education or budgets must say they were all dutifully answered by members of the government team.
Finally we take this note to congratulate the announcement by the Government Delegate in his visit to Alhama about planned state investment in our town, especially highlighting the commitment for the coming year to make the knot works A-7 with the RM-2 (a longstanding goal of corporations above) and good expectations to get the 1% cultural allowing us to continue with the works of the castle, and the development of the construction project of the AVE in the stretch from Librilla Celada the Rambla.
We emphasize, therefore, that since the regional government is giving priority to these investments that correspond to our town over others, in such a critical time of scarce resources as we are, no doubt also because of the efforts made by our mayor with the various Ministries and Government Delegation.
