The Women's Business Incubator, is back to host a new specific training for women which was closed last week.
Lola Cánovas, Councillor for Women, chaired the closing ceremony of Office Automation Course, last in 2012.
The mayor gave diplomas to students who have participated in the training, with a total of 36 teaching hours.
The occasion was used by Cánovas to announce that we are working to offer courses during the year 2013, courses that will be announced once formalized.
The City Council of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Women, has developed various training courses for women.
These courses are a result of women's own demand and take place at the Business Incubator.
On Monday January 21 until February 4 will be in Alhama de Murcia, next to the Health Center, the mobile unit of revision breast cancer.
Ana Fernandez, Councillor for Health, with Charo de La Rosa, president of the local AECC Fran Ruiz, coordinator of the Health Center, gave all the details.
Letters have been sent subpoenas to 1065 Alhama and Librilla women aged between 50 and 69 years but, according to De la Rosa, women between 45 and 50 years old are in the reviews, simply making it known to AECC through local or appearing at the mobile unit and stating their intention to get screened.
The mobile unit schedule will be Monday through Friday.
Monday will be from 8.30 hours to 16.30 hours and from Tuesday to Thursday from 8.30 to 14.30.
On Friday, the day will end at 1330 and February 4, the mobile unit will make revisions until 12 hours.
As explained the doctor in charge of the Health Center, breast cancer is the fourth leading cause of death among women in Murcia, a disease that can be managed with early prevention.
Precisely for that reason, explained the mayor, working in this prevention campaign.
