On Friday night, February 1 dinner took place coexistence that annually celebrates the Civil Defence volunteers, an occasion that is harnessed to deliver various distinctions.
The event was, on this occasion with the presence of the Minister of the Presidency, Manuel Campos, and the mayor, Alfonso Morales and Fernando Ceron mayor of Civil Protection, Angel Sanchez.
Also present were other members of the government team, invited by Civil Protection and volunteers from different bodies (fire, CEPA, 112, ... environmental agents, etc) that have trained members of Civil Protection.
In this event, paid tribute to members of the Civil Protection grouping Alhama de Murcia, as well as other agencies with which they cooperate in the provision of service.
In addition, the Civil Defence volunteers Alhama de Murcia took delivery of a presidential adviser recognition in appreciation for their support to the group of Civil Protection.
The winners were eight professionals from the 112 Emergency Center of the Region of Murcia, fire, environmental agents, local police and 061 Emergency Management, to collaborate in the training of volunteers in the municipality.
It was recognized fellowship among all groups, and the effort and dedication of the Civil Defence volunteers Alhama de Murcia, Enrique Reynoso López Soto and Charity Canovas.
There was also a special tribute to Civil Protection Coordinator predecessor José Antonio López Cánovas, for the four years he has been leading the group and volunteers.
Civil Protection recognition to Jose Antonio Lopez was joined by the City Council that, through the mayor, handed a diploma.
Civil Defence also presented diplomas to several volunteers.
The evening concluded with the words of the president of Civil Protection, Ana Garcia, who sincerely thanked the participation and work of their peers.
The presidential adviser, Manuel Campos, highlighted the important impulse of Civil Defence volunteers as a "force for change, progress and welfare, linked to local and regional development" and encouraged the members of this group to keep "his effort , delivering value and innovation capacity. "
Finally, Mayor Alfonso Morales Fernando Ceron said the importance for the government team have Civil Protection volunteers, highlighting the important role not only in emergencies but also in the day-to-day municipality.
