The Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Alfonso Ceron Fernando Morales, collected on Friday 15, at the hands of the Minister of Public Works and Planning, one of the Quality Awards in Construction.
The event took place in the city and the city Archena received an award for the building that houses the city council in the form of 'Buildings for institutional use'.
The Minister of Public Works and Planning, Antonio Sevilla, next to the mayor of Murcia, Patricia Hernandez, presided over the ceremony of the fifth edition of the awards, organized by the Ministry in collaboration with the Association of Surveyors, Architects Technicians and Engineers of buildings in the Region of Murcia, the Regional Federation of Construction Entrepreneurs of Murcia (Frecom) and Cajamurcia.
In the words of counsel, "the purpose of these awards is to highlight the significance that currently has the concept of quality of buildings, in addition to recognizing the work of professionals and users, who have managed to maintain over time the dignity of buildings that are rewarded for quality implicit ".
The Mayor of Alhama, who collected the award on behalf of all alhameños, highlighted the work done at the time by different workers Consistory which has resulted in the award collected.
The Town Hall, former home of the treacherous, was amended 25 years ago.
It is divided into two floors which are still preserved parts of the old House of Artero, combined with areas that were annexed in its reconstruction.
