The Culture House yesterday afternoon hosted the ceremony for the awards for literature and Violet Award, presented by the Office of Women in commemoration of March 8.
The woman mayor, Lola Cánovas, Councillor Women, welcomed the attendees highlighting the need to continue fighting for the rights of women and appreciating the work of the Advisory Council on Women and of each of the women who conform.
During the course each of the five women writing contest winners read their writings and received their prize.
The awards were as follows.
1st Prize: "WOMEN ONLY" Maria Luisa Blanco Melcon
2nd Prize: "THE CHIP FAILED" Rachel Andreo Melgarejo
3 ° Title: "They formed my destiny," Maria del Carmen Nunez Mill
4 ° Title: "A woman who can" by Maria Garcia Lopez
5 ° Title: "Surviving" Alcaraz Casteló Immaculate Conception
He was the Mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Alfonso Ceron Fernando Morales, responsible for putting the brooch, designed specifically to reward women Award alhameñas as Violet, Mary Altamayo Sanchez.
The Violet Award 2013 received this honor for his fight in defense of women in the workplace.
The Well Food Worker, and one of the first women union democracy, between social activities that have earned the award for the jury, highlights his work as a union delegate personnel in search of equality between women and men, fighting for the rights of all workers and boosting the first news magazines that were distributed in the factory, which is included in the publications of women workers.
